The first post for 2009!

Hello fellow friends and my favourite lecturers. Sorry for the lack of updates! Today, I'll update you with what I just did in class. The whole cutting and folding thing.

I must say, it was rather interesting because I felt like I was in kindergarten again. But still, this is much more fun to work with than you know.. computer drawings and er.. HAHAHA, lets not go there!

Yo yo yo sup sup sup people! Here's a late entry into my design journal. I managed to make the 2x sized Brick Boy the other day. The character I picked was Pikachu. Why? Because it's so cute mah, like me like that. *Shameless*



I took 6 hours to do this and I'm very satisfied with it. I especially love the colouring because I used a lot of effort to colour it yellow. And I was watching American Idol while doing this, teehee :)

Today, we were supposed to draw pictures to express our emotions. My emotions were "emo, crazy, retard and high" and the picture below is what I drew!



For "emo", I drew my Stitch toy in a corner feeling dejected. That's how I feel most of the time when I'm emo. For "crazy", I drew Silver Ho Xiao Yin because she is crazy, for real. For "retarded" I drew a representation of Happy Tree Friends. For those of you who don't know what Happy Tree Friends is, you can visit their website here. They're basically a bunch of retarded animals. And lastly, for "high", I drew a rainbow and an unicorn because when I'm high I tend to fantasize a lot of rubbish :D

OH and here's my group of friends that I really love in class because they're retarded like me :D


This is why I love Interior Design, good hobby, good course, good company :D

There are a lot of other things that I have yet to blog about. Give me some time ya? I need to work out how to use the scanner. Otherwise, I would have to take photographs of all my work which is a tedious process. And can anyone explain why is the scanner so small? :( *EMO*

Oh, and I'm DID/FT/1A/01's Class Representative. *EMO SOME MORE*

First Post.

This is my first post into my design journal. I was asked to create this journal to record my work as well as the progress I make as a student taking Interior Design.

Yesterday, we were asked to draw some pictures for things around our studio. I drew the whiteboard duster which I found. Then we were ask to paste orange stickers on the designs we liked during pin-up. There were nice drawings, unfortunately my duster only achieved one orange sticker. Guess I have to work a lot harder on the details.

I would post the picture that I drew up here, unfortunately, I forgot to take down my picture and scan it. So all I have here would be the Brick Boy that I was asked to draw out of drawing block and UHU glue.

It was a very messy thing and as well as tedious thing to do. And soon, we would have to create one twice the size as this. Hopefully I'll do better.

Here are photographs of my Brick Boy, I wouldn't say it's well done but I put in a lot of effort into this little thing.

I accidentally cut a hole in the head because I thought it was needed. It still looks cute to me okay! You can't see the hole here but there's one at the top of it's "hat"!
